Located in downtown Syracuse for over 30 years, Ashley McGraw Architects’ work represents a wide range of building types, including K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and community/civic buildings. Our staff is united by a higher purpose: design that works in harmony with nature. We look to create spaces where people can thrive today, while leaving an environment that can sustain us long into the future. THE OFFICE

Located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, you are a few blocks to historic Armory Square and its finest shopping, dining, and nightlife. The office features an open landscape concept with no furniture partitions between workstations, promoting a visually open and collaborative environment with the flexibility for easy change of task and project teams. A variety of workspaces are available for daily use including sit-to-stand desks at every workstation, breakout hubs, and larger gathering spaces with various technologies available. Our office is bright and open while offering sweeping panoramic views of the City of Syracuse and surrounding area.

Once you are licensed, we cover the cost of the state’s annual license renewal fees.

STUDENT INTERNSHIPS

Students interested in internships during their college years should submit their resume and portfolio samples for consideration.  Applications for summer internships are due in March. Applications for semester part-time internships are accepted year-round. INTERIOR DESIGNERS
Ashley McGraw Architects is seeking Interior Designers with 0 to 2 years experience who have a sincere passion for sustainable design. Candidates must have served an internship in the field and be eager to learn. You should be able to produce concept level design and conduct product research. Knowledge of Revit and the aptitude to quickly learn new computer programs is required. Successful candidates will have good aesthetic sense, collaborative work practices, a strong work ethic, organizational and time management skills, and be thorough and detail-oriented.   We are looking for designers who are willing to push the boundaries of convention in problem solving and who have a personal connection/value in sustainability on a holistic level.This interior design position is integrated into the project team from the beginning of the project, with involvement in programming and schematic design through construction administration. Responsibilities include client interaction and presentations, finish research and selection. furniture and casework design, programming and space planning, producing construction documents, construction administration, writing specifications, coordination with multiple disciplines, desire to pursue NCIDQ and LEED certifications.
