WETZEL ROAD CTE ACADEMY. Liverpool Central School District
As part of the Liverpool Central School District’s Education 2020 initiative, the District reconfigured grades and buildings to provide more opportunities for students and staff, including mental health support, reading support, English as a New Language (ENL) support, instructional resources, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEAM) opportunities, Career Technical Education (CTE) opportunities and Professional Development. Overall, the adjustments were made so that the district can best meet the needs of its students.
As part of this initiative, the District is working to utilize resources available to not only address facility needs, but to advance the educational direction of the district including renovations to key buildings. A centerpiece of the Education 2020 project is the Wetzel Road CTE Academy (formerly Wetzel Road School).
Scope for the Wetzel Road CTE Academy includes:
· Renovate Technology Education Classrooms including High Bay Addition
· Construct FACS Classrooms: Culinary Lab and Fashion Design
· Construct Broadcast Media & Marketing Space
· Relocate District Office from Current Craven Crawford
