Ashley McGraw Architects to Attend 2026 N4C Annual Conference
Ashley McGraw Architects will attend the 54th Annual Conference of the National Coalition for Campus Children's Centers (NCCCC), taking place March 18-21, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. The conference offers a unique opportunity for leaders from campus children's centers across the country to exchange insights, best practices, and innovative strategies aimed at meeting the changing needs of children, families, and the early childhood workforce within higher education. Representing Ashley McGraw at the event will be Mike Lindstrom, AIA, LEED AP, Principal of the Early Education Studio; Liz Hall, RA, Associate Principal; Kylie Durekas, RLA, CPSI, Landscape Architect; and Brian Burns, Business Development Manager.
Mike Lindstrom, a dedicated NCCCC participant since 2010, has delivered numerous presentations on the design of early education spaces. As strong supporters of NCCCC, Ashley McGraw Architects played an active role in various key conference activities.
Makerspace Partnership: In partnership with Community Playthings and Ashley McGraw are co-hosting an engaging makerspace during the conference, offering hands-on experiences to explore design in an enjoyable and interactive way.
Roundtable Discussion on Trauma-Informed Design: On March 19, Liz Hall, RA, and Kylie Durekas, RLA, CPSI, will present “Trauma-Informed Outdoor & Playscape Design for Early Education.” In this interactive discussion, attendees will collaborate with design professionals to explore how thoughtfully designed, trauma-informed outdoor environments can support children and families experiencing trauma.
Architecture Walking Tour: On March 20 at 5:00 pm, Ashley McGraw is hosting a 1-hour architectural walking tour of San Antonio, TX. This architectural walking tour invites participants to view the built environment through an early childhood lens, exploring how scale, movement, sensory conditions, and spatial transitions influence human experience. Using everyday urban spaces as teaching tools, the tour highlights how design decisions shape comfort, curiosity, regulation, and connection..
