Capital Improvement Project 2020
The transformation of the Middle School and High School Auditorium creates a renewed environment for performance and gathering through updated seating, finishes, lighting, and improved entry and control spaces.Ashley McGraw Architects has been working with Avon Central School District since 2015. The recently completed Capital Improvement Project 2020 pinpointed high priority needs to maintain a safe and attractive learning environment and community resource for students and families including:
Elementary and High School Select Roof Replacements
Elementary and Middle School Secure Entry / Main Office Renovations
Transportation Center Additions / Renovations: Storage Room Addition, Service Bay Modification, Bus Lift, Roof Replacement / Exterior Doors Replacement, and reconstruction of parking area, expand bus parking, drainage improvements, and other site improvements
One of the highlights of the project was the transformation of the Middle School / High School Auditorium. Scope of work included the replacement of seating, new aisle lighting, upgrade finishes, new entry vestibule and controls mezzanine.
