Ashley McGraw Architects was honored and humbled by the announcement at the 2023 New York State Green Building Conference on March 3, 2023 that the annual Green Building Advocate of the Year award has been named after David Ashley. Moving forward, the David C. Ashley Green Building Advocate of the Year award will continue to be given to an individual involved in green building, either in a professional or volunteer capacity, and is prominent in promoting the need to "reduce the overall impact of the built environment on humans and the natural environment.”

Ashley McGraw Architects is pleased to announce the addition of David Funk as Project Architect. Funk has over 16 years of project experience with a focus on K-12 design. He has collaborated with numerous New York State K-12 districts including Colton-Pierrepont CSD, Fort Montgomery CSD, Morris CSD, Oxford Academy & CSD, Peru CSD, Pine Bush CSD, Port Jervis CSD, and Valley CSD. Funk is a licensed architect in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Ashley McGraw Architects is pleased to announce the addition of Kristen Hill as an Educational Environment Strategist. Hill is a thought leader on stakeholder engagement, change management, and facilitation. As an Educational Environment Strategist, Hill will collaborate with our educational and community clients to evolve the understanding of project scope beyond spatial programming to consider learning, development, and aspirational vision. Additionally, she will work with the design team to facilitate conversations with diverse community groups, meet with educational stakeholders, and lead client discussions on programming, visioning, and curriculum integration with architectural design.

Williams rejoined Ashley McGraw Architects in June 2022, establishing and leading the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. “We are delighted to have Nick become a Principal with Ashley McGraw Architects,” said Matthew Broderick, President & CEO. “Since rejoining our firm and establishing our Washington, D.C. office, he has showcased a mix of leadership, design innovation, and commitment to our firm’s sustainability values.
