Ashley McGraw Architects announces the addition of Matt Flament as an Associate Principal supporting the firm’s Housing studio. Flament brings extensive experience in multi-family residential and affordable housing projects, including large-scale, multi-phase developments and neighborhood revitalization efforts.

Ashley McGraw Architects welcomes Alessia Randazzo as a Senior Designer. Based in our Buffalo office, Randazzo will contribute to our firm’s growing housing studio, supporting an expanding portfolio of projects across New York State. Randazzo has experience navigating Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) processes and guidelines, positioning her to effectively support the delivery of high-quality housing projects across New York State.

On July 2, 2025, Ashley McGraw Architects celebrated the groundbreaking of the Cold Spring Apartment Complex, a transformative new development in Tannersville, NY, that blends sustainability, affordability, and community-driven design.

On April 3, 2025, McCormack Baron Salazar, the Syracuse Housing Authority, the City of Syracuse, and the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the kickoff for the renovation of Almus Olver Towers in downtown Syracuse, NY.

On March 27, 2025, Associate Principals Jason Evans and Andrew Van Roo presented at the 2025 New York State Green Building Conference in Syracuse, NY (Marriott Syracuse Downtown). As a long-time sponsor of the NYS Green Building Conference, Ashley McGraw Architects continued our support in 2025 through the Student Poster Competition.  

On March 21, 2025, Associate Principal Andrew Van Roo presented “Creating Harmony: Overcoming Challenges in Passive House Multifamily Design” alongside Positive Trace Architecture’s Nicole Schuster at the 2025 Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) BuildingEnergy Conference in Boston, MA.  

Ashley McGraw Architects has achieved design certification for their first PHIUS Passive House project! The design for the new Cold Spring Apartment Complex has received PHIUS CORE 2021 design certification.
