Grand Opening Ceremony for the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator
On June 1, 2017 the grand opening ceremony was held for the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator. The event was emceed by Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger. In his opening remarks, he was very complimentary of our design team and mentioned how Ed was a Binghamton University alum. They also gave the design team praise for when they found out after the building was designed for two floors that SUNY Broome was awarded a grant and the building would expand to three floors. Remarks were also given by Matthew Watson, NY Gov. Cuomo designee; Amanda Spellicy, U.S. Senator Schumer designee; NY Senator Fred Akshar; NY Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo; SUNY Broome President Keven Drumm, Broome County Executive Jason Garner; and Binghamton Mayor Richard David. The ceremony was well attended and included a reception and tours of the building.
