Ashley McGraw Architects Announces Three New Associate Principals
Ashley McGraw Architects announces the appointment of Sara Berg, Beck Bruno, and Gregory Warner to Associate Principal, reflecting their continued leadership and impact within the firm. This brings the firm’s Associate Principal group to 14, reflecting a broad range of expertise, market sectors, and geographic perspectives that reinforce Ashley McGraw’s leadership depth.

Sara Berg (RA, CPHC, Fitwel Ambassador)
Sara Berg joined Ashley McGraw Architects in 2013 and brings more than 13 years of experience designing forward-thinking academic environments. A leader in researcher-focused laboratory design, Berg has played a key role in advancing teaching and research facilities at institutions including Cornell University, the University at Buffalo, Onondaga Community College, and Binghamton University. Berg is a licensed architect in New York State, a Certified Passive House Consultant, My Green Lab Ambassador, and a Fitwel Ambassador. Berg holds a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University (2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from Alfred State College (2009).
On becoming Associate Principal, Berg offered “With Ashley McGraw’s focus on design, sustainability and technical expertise, this firm has been an incredible place to grow both personally and professionally. Rebecca “Beck” Bruno
Beck Bruno joined Ashley McGraw Architects in 2024 and brings more than seven years of experience specializing in educational design. Since joining the firm, Bruno has played a key role in the planning and design of projects for Bethlehem Central School District, Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District, and Morristown Central School District, contributing thoughtful, student-centered solutions that support evolving educational needs. Bruno holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2016) as well as an Associates of Applied Science from Hudson Valley Community College (2010).
Bruno emphasized the importance of the role, saying “I am incredibly honored to step into the role of Associate Principal at Ashley McGraw. This milestone reflects the dedication and passion that our team pours into every project we undertake. I am excited to further contribute to our mission, where every detail reflects our commitment to excellence. I’m eager to create space that resonates with people and foster communities. Gregory Warner (Associate AIA)
Gregory Warner joined Ashley McGraw Architects in 2016, following two years interning with the firm from 2014 to 2016, and has since served as a Senior Designer on more than $450 million in K–12 capital projects across New York State, including work for Liverpool, Skaneateles, Westhill, Windsor, and Whitney Point Central School Districts. In addition to his design leadership, Warner plays a critical role in shaping how clients’ identities are expressed through their facilities, serving as a key design and brand strategist. He also leads the firm’s BIM technology and technical initiatives, supporting both project delivery and firm-wide standards. Warner holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental and Interior Design from Syracuse University (2016).
On his promotion, Warner stated, “I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to step into the Associate Principal role.
