HENNINGER ATHLETIC CENTER RENOVATION

The Henninger Athletic Center, built in 1962, is the home of the Le Moyne College Dolphin’s Intercollegiate Athletic Programs and is primarily used by the Athletics Department. In addition, the facility is used for large student events and gatherings including New Student Convocation and Graduate Student Commencement.

Scope of work included the renovation and enhancement of the building’s lobby, exterior façade, and hardscape / landscape, including the extension of the existing lobby and related floor infill to increase utilization for campus and community events. Interior improvements included the concession stand, ceilings, finishes, signage, and furnishings. Working within the campus vocabulary, exterior improvements included façade / entry vestibule doors, site lighting, and signage. The project was completed in 2019.
